Let's do this, 2023 ✨

2022 recap

The year I started trying to create better habits. The year my heart tore a little bit. The year my best friend and I started a business. The year I had to pick myself back up. The year I traveled. The year I learned forgiveness and understanding on a new level. The year I started therapy. The year I made memories with my daughter that I will never forget. The year I stopped putting other people before myself. The year I started to get to know a whole new side of me. The year I began weight lifting. The year my relationship with my husband grew, in many different ways. The year I read more books. The year I realized I am deserving. The year I also realized how much trauma I carry and how it affects my life. The year I turned 30.

With every challenge I faced, came a new lesson or growth within me. There's so many quotes out there that emulate this idea...

"If it doesn't challenge you, it doesn't change you"

"Growth and comfort do not coexist"

"Your hard times, pains, and lessons will become your strength,

awareness, and blessings one day"

I'm not here to complain or dwell in the negatives about 2022 at all. I truly appreciate every moment, good or bad, because in the end, the amount that I matured and changed was worth it all. My goals for 2023 are bigger than last, and my desire to be the best version of myself, for myself (and of course my daughter) is stronger than last year. With that, I want to share my personal goals for the year:

This might even lead me to make a timeline and diving into month to month goals. I am such a list and calendar person. Checking things off my lists feels so damn good. Feel free to follow along on my journey (and hold me accountable) on my instagram page :)

To wrap things up

2022, the most bittersweet of my life.

I cannot wait to see what 2023 has in store for little old me, let’s do this!
