couples halloween costume ideas 🎃

Can you believe Halloween is already this weekend?! How perfect is it that it falls on the weekend though? I love that it's on Sunday because it will be the perfect weekend end cap to take our daughter trick or treating. What are your Halloween plans?

This morning I was going through old photos and came across so many different costumes that Lucas and I have been throughout the years. I wanted to share in case anyone needed couple's costume inspiration!

Medusa & Perseus

This one was SO much fun to create! I bought plastic snakes off Amazon, spray painted them gold and attached them to a plastic headband. I ordered all of the accessories (snake belt, snake wrist band, earrings, etc.) off of Amazon as well. My body suit was from Forever 21 and so were the black mesh pants! Lucas' costume was from Spirit Halloween.

Flapper & Gangster

This costume was also put together with help from Amazon! (Accessories linked here) My dress was from Fashion Nova, which I'm sure isn't available anymore but any fringe dress will work! The beautiful coat was given to me by my dear friend & college roommate, Stephanie. ☺️

FAMILY COSTUME- Darla, Dentist, Nemo & Dory

This one was a family effort, but I had to include it. Even our dog, Fiji, was included haha. I got braces (you can barely tell) just days before this, so it was only fitting. Kinsley's Nemo costume was from Amazon, so was my skirt, purple sweater, and Lucas' dentist uniform.

Doe & Hunter

This costume will be easy to convince any huntin' lovin' husband to do! AND a huge bonus is they probably already have their whole costume! My headband was another DIY. It was so fun to make. Let me know in the comments if you want me to write a tutorial. I did a little face make up, found a brown onesie from Forever 21, hot glued a brown puff ball to it, and added white tights with my brown knee high boots.

Dead bride & groom

During this year I was taking a floral design class at college. We happend to make these bouquets and matching head pieces and it sparked the idea to be a dead bride and groom. So we went to the mall and grabbed my white lingerie. Lucas' dress shirt he already had. We added lots of fake blood and did our makeup and that was it!

Popeye & Olive Oyl

Lucas' costume was store bought, I believe from Spirit Halloween again. Mine was DIY! I already had the white collared shirt, red sweater, black pencil skirt, and black heels. The only thing I had to do was hot glue a yellow ribbon around the skirt!

Jasmine & Aladdin

Both of these costumes were store bought. I think we ordered them both online somewhere!
