delicious dessert charcuterie board

With Valentine's Day coming up and the Bachelor on every Monday night, there's plenty of excuses to make this amazing dessert charcuterie board! I decided to make one for some of my girlfriends and I for our favorite Monday night pastime, watching Matt James. šŸ˜ It would be perfect for a romantic date at home as well!

Store List:

Heart sharped sugar cookies (I made mine at home beforehand, but store bought will work just fine!)

Pretzels

Pretzel rods

White chocolate chips

Chocolate chips

Reeseā€™s Peanut Butter cups

Pirouette sticks

Strawberries

Raspberries

Bananas

Strawberry cream cheese fruit dip

Wafers

Oreos (we chose the white Oreos)

Roses (if you'd really like to dress it up)

Before arranging your board, you should get everything ready and prepped first.

Chocolate covered pretzels:

Be sure to have wax paper laid out to set the pretzels on to cool. Melt the chocolate for your pretzels by putting the chips into a pan first, then turn the heat on the lowest heat possible. Stir often. Dip your pretzels and let them cool on the wax paper. I dipped the rods half way and added some pink sprinkles. I dipped the regular pretzels so they were completely covered in chocolate. I made white chocolate and milk chocolate covered pretzels.

I unwrapped each of my Reese's to make them aesthetically pleasing. Side note- do they make full size Reese's in an unwrapped version?! If not, get on it Reese's! I also chopped my bananas and sliced some strawberries. Once you have everything opened, unwrapped, and sliced- it's time to arrange your board!

You really can't mess it up, all of the sweets are so pretty! I put the pink cookies on first and worked around those. Line cookies up, stack them, have fun with it! You can even put some things into little dishes if you have them like I did with the pretzels and bananas. Just be sure to leave spaces for the dishes to put the melted chocolate and strawberry dip into. Melt the chocolate last, pour into the dishes and serve! ā˜ŗļø

All of these sweets and treats pair really nicely with some wine, too! What wines would you drink with it? Comment on this post & be sure to tag me in your pictures if you make one so I can see! šŸ˜
